My Job Title: Wallscourt Fellow in Sustainable Buildings at UWE Bristol
My work sits at the intersection of Engineering, Design and the Built Environment.
My work is focused on developing interactive model homes.
I hold a Wallscourt Fellowship in Sustainable Buildings and a Senior Lectureship in Building Physics and Sustainability at UWE Bristol.
Previously I worked as a Research Fellow at the Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College London, where I developed the “Design the Future: HOUSE project.” which appeared as part of the “Natural History Museum late” and “Science Museum” events.
Before Imperial College London, I was also an Assistant Professor in Building Physics and Course Director of the BEng Architectural Environment Engineering degree program at the University of Nottingham Ningbo Campus.
My research is focused on novel approaches and immersive engagement technologies and experiences to support the decarbonisation of the building stock and I am currently developing and testing Immersive technologies to enhance understanding and uptake of low-carbon heating and retrofitting technologies.
